Yoshi's Island, sometimes called "Yo'ster Isle", is part of a larger land called Dinosaur Land and home to the species of ridable dinosaurs called Yoshis. It has been the setting of several games in the Mario and Yoshi series, including the main setting of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. It is a renowned holiday spot that is frequented by the Mario Bros., though its flora and fauna, including Goombas, Koopas, and Piranha Plants, can pose a danger to the underadventured traveler.
