Bitten by a radioactive spider, high school student Peter Parker gained the speed, strength and powers of a spider. Adopting the name Spider-Man, Peter hoped to start a career using his new abilities. Taught that with great power comes great responsibility, Spidey has vowed to use his powers for good.
Spider-Man is a Marvel Comics superhero created by writer-editor Stan Lee and writer-artist Steve Ditko in 1962. Since first appearing in the graphic adventure game Questprobe #2 Featuring Spider-Man in 1978, Spider-Man has been depicted in numerous videogame appearances across a wide array of game platforms.
