Japanese game composer Junichi Nakatsuru took classical piano lessons in his youth and went on to perform trombone and arrange brass band music in high school. Majoring in art at university he studied music theory, acoustics and desktop music.1
Employed by Namco Bandai, Nakatsuru is best known for his work on the Soul Calbibur series as well as his work on various Ace Combat games. He appeared as a guest composer at Eminence's A Night in Fantasia 2007: Symphonic Games Edition in Sydney and Melbourne in Australia.
