Bandai Namco Games is a Japanese game developer and game publisher formed in 2006 as a result of a merger between Namco and Bandai. The company was known as Namco Bandai Games outside Japan after this merger. On January 24, 2014 the company announced it would change its name outside Japan to Bandai Namco to match the Japanese name.1

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is a game I've been excited about since I learnt about its cousin Ni no Kuni: Shikkoku no Madoshi on the Nintendo DS years ago. It's nearly out in America and Europe (and Australia, whoo!) and I've got my Wizard's Edition on pre-order. So Namco Bandai Games released a demo on the PlayStation 3 this week. Namco Bandai and From Software announce Demon's Souls successor during this TGS

From Software has announced the spiritual successor to Demon's Souls, tentatively titled Project Dark. A teaser trailer also followed the announcement with Namco Bandai as publisher for the west. It is now multi-platform for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

It’s a tough market. DS is the most successful platform ever, but all my kids’ friends at school have a DS with an R4. They have 100 games for no money. So yes, the market has collapsed for the DS and Wii...We had a lot of product, and the average quality of a game on DS and Wii is very, very bad. So in the mind of the consumer today, to buy a DS or Wii game is to buy a game that isn’t very good.
