Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development (任天堂 情報開発本部, lit. "Nintendo Information and Development Headquarters") is a division within Nintendo that undertakes research, planning and development. It is the largest department at Nintendo and is responsible for some its most well known franchises. The department has seven development teams underneath it as well as the Nintendo subsidiary SRD.
