- Dissidia Final Fantasy was envisioned by director Yousuke Shiokawa as a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Final Fantasy series. Pitting classic characters against their nemeses in one-on-one battles patterned after Kingdom Hearts, the title hopes to deliver the most exciting experiment in cross-pollenation a series fan could wish for.
