Unflinching, blind loyalty to authority or desire does not absolve the soul from moral anguish - or from the maleficence within the heart. Despite the capacity for redemption in the penitent, as long as there are those willing to embrace evil, the darkness persists, feeding on the implacable thirst for power. Nintendo DS Remake
In 2008, Square Enix released a major remake for the portable Nintendo DS. Although largely faithful to the original, Final Fantasy IV (DS) does contain several enhancements, including new minigames and features, voice acting, CG cut-scenes, New Game Plus, and a new translation.
