"In a galaxy with no past, all must fight for the future"
In 2214, 5 empires died.
In Summer 2011, we shall rise again.
Novus Aeterno is a full Real Time Strategy (RTS) game that takes place in a massive and seamless galaxy full of great opportunities and challenging threats. Players familiar to RTS games will be able to grasp the controls and layout to get right into the action of Novus Aeterno. The story of Novus Aeterno begins within the aftermath of a catastrophic destruction of the main five empires that had dominated the galaxy. The Verunas, Azsendi, Acaean, Cauldron Born, and our own Human civilisations had reached a high point in domination over their portions of the galaxy. The old empires are now no more and the galaxy is without any stable authority. The player can now enter the scene and determine the course of events between the conflict of various factions and the persistent outcome of further events.
Being true to an MMORTS, Novus Aeterno will have no match making. Competition between players and natural threats can happen anywhere within the massive scale of the galaxy that will be connected by no loading seams. With this open galaxy players can explore a full galaxy without restraint; through war and peace you can experience the entire battlefield!
Forming Alliances with other players will allow a group of players to take on large threats and to take on other Alliances to have large scaled battles between each other within the full open galaxy. These battles can be Free for all battles as well as team battles; depending on your choice to ambush, jump into a dog pile of a battle, or dig in to defend a choke point. Your tactical options will not be limited.
The player can expect all actions to be controlled by you as the Commander from the bridge of your capital ship. Interacting with the main hologrid will display and engage the traditional RTS command and control system. Other consoles will allow you to construct buildings on your colonised planets; trade resources and items; and to design and improve new ships.
