Portal 2 is set hundreds of years after the events of Portal, wherein GLaDOS, the malicious A-I computer system responsible for testing and maintenance of the Aperture Science research facility, is accidentally woken up. Unlike its predecessor, Portal 2 is a full-scale game featuring both single-player and co-operative play; each with a unique story and setting.
