Welcome to the Vagrant Story page! As of this precise moment, there are approximately one jillion other pages here at Videogam.in just like this one, all dedicated to Games, Game Designers, Gaming Topics, Consoles, Companies, and more.

Every content page here can be edited. If you contribute enough information to a page, you may become its revered and adored Patron Saint.

You can become a fan of any Game, Person, Company, Console, or anything else.

You can also become a hater (or become both to reflect a complex love-hate relationship).

Finally, you can add any Game to your Game Collection and create lists of titles that you own or would like to own or whatever. You can keep inventory of your games, show off your collection to your friends, or use it to impress a member of the opposite sex.

End Transmission

Once a city of lavish splendour, Leá Monde has since been laid waste by a devastating earthquake, leaving the port city a forgotten wasteland. As a member of the Valendia Knights of the Peace, Ashley Riot finds himself in pursuit of Sydney Losstarot, leader of Müllenkamp, the religious cult that has kidnapped the duke's son and taken refuge within the Grand Cathedral of Leá Monde.

One of the most critically acclaimed games of all time, Vagrant Story excels in storytelling, customization, artwork, localization and music. With a rare perfect score from Famitsu magazine and acclaim virtually across the board, it is well loved among hardcore fans appreciative of a worthy challenge.

Ivalice and Final Fantasy XII connections

Final Fantasy XII contains several references to Vagrant Story. Terms such as Riskbreaker, Leámonde and Kildea (albeit with different spellings in the localizations), are commonly used in both games. Yasumi Matsuno, the creator of Final Fantasy XII, was interviewed by Joypad, a French gaming magazine, in 2004 on Final Fantasy XII and the game world he conceived, Ivalice, when he joined Square in 1995. He describes Ivalice as a complex world with a very long history and the stories of Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Final Fantasy XII are said to unfold quite close on the Ivalice map.

When too many games is enough

It occured to me a few days ago that I have far too many unfinished or even unplayed games. Yet despite these I have continued to purchase more? Why? This blog post will be a confession of the horrible atrocities I have committed.

Vagrant Story coming to PAL Playstation store

Vagrant Story is out on Friday December 22 on the PAL PlayStation store for a small €6. With no release date currently set for the United States, it's apparent that this is a small gesture of goodwill given the past "yeah we'll get to that at some point after the US" release date schedule for Japanese games in Europe.
