Akihiro Hino

Akihiro Hino began his career in the game industry in the 1990s. Working for Riverhillsoft, now long since dead and gone, Hino began as lead programmer for Overblood and subsequently served as lead scenario/game designer for the sequel.

After the creation of Level-5, Hino partook in the creation of the Dark Cloud series and sent the fortunes of the company sky-high with its development of Dragon Quest VIII several years later. He more recently served as Lead Designer, Scenario Planner, Producer, and Director for the popular JRPG Rogue Galaxy.
