Alex was a member of Square Haven since 2003 and served as an editor for the website since April of 2005. As albums guru, he was instrumental in the upkeep of the Venerable Square Enix Resource's videogame soundtrack database founded by Paul Le.
Alex has also published various news items on the subject of upcoming game music scores and live orchestral concerts. Outside the web, he has worked with the Eminence orchestra on six separate occasions, including the successful A Night In Fantasia 2007 Symphonic Games Edition, held in Melbourne, Australia.
He has recently moved away from his regional Australia hole of a city to Melbourne in order to study Asian studies and cinema studies. This way he has the excuse to compare the anime film Mind Game and the Chinese art film Chungking Express against academic work written in the late 70s.
