Hirokazu Yasuhara is a game designer notable for his level designs, especially among the initial Sonic the Hedgehog series of games, working as a key designer on various Sonic titles until the late 1990s. He then joined Naughty Dog where he worked on the Jak and Daxter series and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. More recently, he joined Namco Bandai Games America.
Veteran Sega game designer Hirokazu Yasuhara (Sonic, Uncharted) recently defected to Namco and is said to be working on a new Pac-Man game to celebrate the beloved circle's 30th anniversary1. Although nothing more specific is known, there is speculation that the game is the very same "character game" he alluded to in an interview with Gamasutra last year.
