Keiji Honda is the Vice President of Square Enix. He earned a graduate degree from Tokyo's Waseda University, studying science and technology. He worked for Nomura Co., Ltd. until 1987, at which time he joined Enix as a producer for the Dragon Quest series. As a leading member of Enix's international division, he lived in the United States for part of his tenure. He became chief of the company's planning department in 1997. In 2002, he oversaw the merger between Square and Enix, becoming the joint corporation's Vice President, while Square's Yoichi Wada assumed the role of Square Enix President.
