Masaharu Iwata is a music composer for Square Enix and a long-time collaborator with Hitoshi Sakimoto. His projects include Ogre Battle, Tactics Ogre, Treasure Hunter G, Final Fantasy Tactics, Children of Mana, and Final Fantasy XII. He is now a member of Basiscape, a video game music promotion company founded by Hitoshi Sakimoto.1

After a lengthy hiatus, the Tactics Ogre series is returning with a sequel entitled Tactics Ogre: Wheel of Fate. It will be a remake of the original Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together from the Super NES period with the return of series architect Yasumi Matsuno along with his other peers, Hiroshi Minagawa, Akihiko Yoshida, Tsubasa Masao, Hitoshi Sakimoto, and Masaharu Iwata. This particular installment will feature a revision of the original game's story, along with some new characters and scenarios being written by Matsuno himself.
