Richard Steven Horvitz is a voice actor of repute in the fields of television, anime, and videogames. He began acting in various commercials and minor roles before landing his big break in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as Alpha 5. Praise the show, because he then moved on to The Angry Beavers (as Daggett) and a host of other shows. Far more important is the fact that he went on to voice Zim in Invader Zim, the somewhat disturbing black comedy about an alien who tries to take over earth, failing time and time again in odd and hillarious ways.
Horvitz also voiced main character Razputin in Psychonauts and a minor part in the English dub of the anime Howl's Moving Castle, voicing a grocer. He also voiced some PMC Soldiers in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
He is currently residing in California with his wife Kristen Lazarian (playwright and screenwriter) and three children.1
