A Producer for Bandai, Square, and Square Enix

Shinji Hashimoto

One of the most prolific creators of Square Enix, Shinji Hashimoto was the producer of such titles as Einhänder and Kingdom Hearts II. After working for Bandai, Hashimoto joined Square in 1995 as the producer of the Super Famicom title . He also supervised the production of the sequels Front Mission: Gun Hazard, Front Mission 2, and Front Mission 4. He is currently serving as executive producer on Subarashiki Kono Sekai and Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon.

Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto was in the question-answering mood yesterday, responding to a handful of queries thrown his way via the Square Enix Partners Twitter account. Hashimoto addressed the possibility of DS remakes for Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI, stating (according to Andriasang's translation), "for FF5 and 6, there are technical issues as well, so at present these are also undecided."12
