Takeharu Ishimoto is a composer for Square Enix. He started out as a sound programmer for such titles as Legend of Mana, Vagrant Story, and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. He was then offered the role of composer on the mobile title Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII. He revised the role of series composer on the anime OVA included in the DVD release of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, entitled Last Order. More recently, he worked on the soundtracks for Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy Type-0, Dissidia Final Fantasy, and the rhythm action game directed by Tetsuya Nomura: The World Ends With You.
