Before joining Square Enix in 1995, Tsuyoshi Sekito worked with Konami game designer Hideo Kojima on several titles, including Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. Brave Fencer Musashi was his first major soundtrack for Square. In 2001, he was assigned to remix Final Fantasy II for the Wonderswan Color. His guitar skills proved vital in the foundation of the The Black Mages band, and also the softrock Star Onions. He was one of the key composers and performers for the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children film soundtrack. He later composed the score for The Last Remnant.
