To celebrate the April 25th North American release of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Square Enix is hosting a special screening at Los Angeles' Cinerama Dome on the evening of April 3rd. Tickets will be given out at noon of that same day to 800 lucky people who manage to find transportation to this historic marquee. "Key production staff and cast" are also noted to appear, so don't miss this chance to get "up close and personal" with animator number fifteen.

you know advent children, well of course you do' if it is a really big hit do you think they'll do a ffVIII film as well? (i really hope they do)

VIII I really don't see that won't taking off. For VII it was the revolutionzing game for the FF serious and many people still play it but you don't hear to much bout VII.

That and the fact many FF fans don't actually like FFVIII. Not the sort of game you'd make into a film.

No, VIII is the more controversial title. I know plenty of people that love FFIX. Disturbingly most of these people don't like it because of it's classic FF charms, they just think it's the best FF title. Pfft.

  27. loading
    x1009

I found FFIX to be too childish. That is just my oppinion

Were you one of those people that couldn't handle The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker?

  29. loading
    Tribal

Don't talk about the wind waker ever, i hate that game, if link really did exsist, im sure he'll take it as an insult, im sorry, but the n64 tloz oot and mm had better graphics than that dame game. Its not link, its a boy with a balloon head and a small body, not link. I nearly killed my own bother when he said he was gonna get it. luckly for me he didn't. And i really can't wait till the twilight princess comes out. By the way i like ffIX coz i think its more fantasy coz of the characters like vivi and zidane are sort of creatures as well, than just the ones you fight, and im on disk
4 of that one. (Look what you've done made me all upset coz you mentioned the wind waker..................only joking!!!!)

yeah, wind waker blows. but it certainly wasn't the graphics. how can you be such a slutbag as to judge a game by its graphics? slutbag.

  44. loading
    puddin77

yeah wind waker did suck, althought i thought the graphics were kind of interesting.

  45. loading
    x1009

I played it and successfuly completed it but I highly disaprove of the game and wpould never recomend it to any non mental unstable person

  46. loading
    Tribal

Please dont call me a slutbag! I know its stupid to pre-judge the game on its graphics, its just doesn't seem traditional for the zelda games, Like i know the graphic are not great on the gameboys but you can still see that link resembles the one on the nintendo 64 games, (sort off) if you get what i mean. I just hate the fact that the wind-waker link doesn't look like the original one, it seems like the creaters didn't bother with it, and im not saying that people shouldn't play it coz its not up to me what people should or shouldn't play.

Wind Waker was fucking awesome -- redeemed by its totally first rate ending and stylistic design. Fuck you guys for having no taste.

  48. loading
    puddin77

many games before wind waker were judged by there graphics, i can't name any at the moment but, there out there. I personally liked the graphics but i still thought the game could have been better.

Rahul, which design is stylistic? The visual design? MOST DEFINITELY.
As far as game design, however, and more specifically, the most important aspect of any Zelda since its inception - dungeon design - Wind Waker is seriously lacking. The dungeon has historically been the key aspect of any Zelda, and I would say the pinpoint reason for Zelda's popularity and fame as one of the greatest series of games in history. I remember every Link to the Past dungeon and every fucking brilliant Ocarina of Time Dungeon (the whale's belly!), but Wind Waker had like four completely forgettable, vapidly boring levels. Did they think that if we spent a few hours mindlessly sailing around the ocean that we would forget about the defining Zelda element? I certainly didn't.

I liked the ice cavern, and i also know some one whos stuke in the great duku tree. (*laughing in the near distance*) he said he couldn't find his way out, yet he did have the map and the compuss (to be honest he was probably scared of the spiders and the killer plants!) Even he laughed at himself.
