I read that quote a few days ago when it lit up all the gameblagz. My thoughts were 1. What the fuck does that even mean? and 2. Masato Kato? Who cares?
It just baffles me that he actually believes in the trite he's spitting out. Maybe it's a publicity stunt: "Hey guys remember me!? I wrote part of Chrono Trigger's script!". Yea nobody cares anymore buddy.
Yeah see I saw this and thought "I guess he's in a better place to comment than I am". Then I realised that this statement wasn't really saying anything specific. He didn't back it up with much, but such is the magic of Twitter. I'm guessing he's referring to the iPad selling millions and all the people snapping up cheap casual games on it will make the Wii suffer. Time will tell, but it's still a very odd comment.
And yes Matt, that's pretty much why I put it up, so people can say 'err what' just like I did.
