I am SO hyped for this after watching this trailer. It releases in Japan on June 10th and got a 36/40 from Famitsu (not that that means anything). OMG I want to play this. It looks like a spiritual sequel to FFXII with flavours of Xenogears and Vagrant Story.

So I think it's decided (I know, very premature). The day this comes out in the US is the day I finally get a Wii. Barring something terrible, this is going to be the way it is.

Personally the atmosphere of these Xenoblade videos has not only been really refreshing, they still manage to evoke that nostalgic 'classic' feel of various golden rpgs, i.e. get me geeking out. I think I'm gonna peg most of that feeling on the awesome background music for now. Feels like a sexy blend of Shimomura and Mitsuda, but I don't think they straight collaborated on anything did they? Guess we just have to wait til the soundtracks drop...

Apparently Mitsuda only did the ending theme if I remember correctly

Everything to this game is gorgeous. I must've known this magic was going to happen as I bought my new Wii two weeks ago. I'm also glad to see it won't go to waste once I finish Mushroom Men and when no one's over to play Mario Party.
