More 3DS titles delayed due to poor 3DS sales

Natsume has announced both Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns and Gabrielle's Ghostly Groove are both being delayed until October in the United States. While there's perhaps a less sinister reason for Gabrielle's Ghostly Groove (Halloween theme in October makes sense) both are being delayed due to poor early sales of the Nintendo 3DS.

What's more interesting is titles such as these are being delayed due to early sales - how exactly do they expect the console to sell bucket loads without fresh titles? Sure there's been a price drop but without a lot more quality titles to entice players I wonder how quickly the console will actually ship.

Early adopters will receive their 10 free NES Virtual Console games from September 1 as part of the Ambassador program to curb their anger at being shafted. I for one haven't touched my 3DS pretty much at all since I purchased it - hopefully something other than my 4th purchase of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will surface soon.
