From Software has announced the spiritual successor to Demon's Souls, tentatively titled Project Dark. A teaser trailer also followed the announcement with Namco Bandai as publisher for the west. It is now multi-platform for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The latest Metroid: Other M trailer has been released exclusively at GameTrailers.

After a lengthy hiatus, the Tactics Ogre series is returning with a sequel entitled Tactics Ogre: Wheel of Fate. It will be a remake of the original Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together from the Super NES period with the return of series architect Yasumi Matsuno along with his other peers, Hiroshi Minagawa, Akihiko Yoshida, Tsubasa Masao, Hitoshi Sakimoto, and Masaharu Iwata. This particular installment will feature a revision of the original game's story, along with some new characters and scenarios being written by Matsuno himself. Minagawa will take directorial role while Yoshida and Masao are designing the characters and Sakimoto and Iwata are doing the music. Read on

After an amass of artwork samples and short blurbs on gameplay and narrative, Mistwalker has decided that their fans have waited long enough and it's time to deliver the goods in The Last Story. The trailer shows how the upcoming RPG plays along with what the themes and settings of the game world.

Retro Studios have been in the bunker for quite sometime cooking up speculation on what their next project could possibly be. Rumors of a Donkey Kong reboot were circulating the internet recently until Nintendo laid down the bomb and unveiled Donkey Kong Country Returns at this E3. A 2D platformer based on the Donkey Kong Jungle Beat game.

Ever since 2005 when HAL Labs were developing Kirby Adventure for GameCube (see a trailer for this unreleased project), they subsequently missed the release window once the Wii entered the stage. Ever since that time it was regarded as shovelware... until now. At this E3, Reggie Fils-Aime announced the pink puff ball's return to the home console: enter Kirby's Epic Yarn, a 2D platformer that themes itself around cotton threads and knitted obstacles. Coming this fall.1

During Nintendo's Conference yesterday, Satoru Iwata announced Kid Icarus Uprising (formerly known as Project Sora), a flying/rails-based action game coming for the upcoming 3DS portable gaming device.

Konami revealed the following gameplay footage of Metal Gear Solid: Rising, the upcoming fast-paced action title starring cybernetic ninja Raiden for Xbox360/PlayStation 3, at yesterday's E3 press conference with Microsoft.1

According to IGN, Nintendo second party developer Retro Studios (the team behind the Metroid Prime trilogy) is cooking up a revival of the beloved and venerable Donkey Kong series. They stress it's a rumor and that we should not sacrifice ourselves for Nintendo just yet, but they also stress it's a "credible" rumor, which means we'll probably sacrifice ourselves anyway.

Shinji Mikami's most anticipated game yet has now revealed in-game footage to whet the appetites of those who are awaiting it's presence at this E3. Perhaps we'll get hands-on footage of the gameplay mechanics once E3 rolls in? That's what we're hoping for.

BlogThis will be quite short as there isn't much to be said so I'll just go ahead and say it right now: Yasumi Matsuno is making his return at this E3 during Nintendo's Conference. I have no proof other than a vibe and perhaps me being suspicious of his public drop-out between his last project til now. He can't hide any longer and I truly believe he will reveal his project and it will be the silent bomb of this E3 in the same vein as Nintendo's Metroid: Other M of last E3. It worked really well for Nintendo to blow people's expectations with announcing a game that nobody ever thought would exist. It's a little different here but I don't suspect many people are expecting Matsuno's game to be unveiled at this year's Expo. How mind blowing for them if he does!
Now of course I could be wrong and I'm sure some of you are adamant that I am, but I guess we'll see next month.....I dunno, it just feels right this time, it feels in beat with Matsuno's tune, his time to step out and ro… Read on
